This is my first time joining Cyberfair, and it is so different to compare with the competitions I have joined before. I have learnt how to apply computer program, compress video, file format…etc.. Do Good House, the topic this time, helps me understand much more knowledge out of our textbooks from school such as what Green Construction is, and the definition of it. Through Cyberfair, I have met a nature lover, Steven Ho, the special person who builds this incredible Do Good House which won the first prize both in and out. Though it is called Green Construction, but Ho insists that it is better to be treated as Nature Construction. We have gained a lot more ability in different aspects like dealing with computers, and been better at presenting our own ideas through the help from Teacher Lin, Ying-Pin, Lin, Hsiu-Nuan, and Claire. They make my teammates a better themselves. |

This special Cyberfair experience makes me a better student on seeking solutions by asking guidance from our teachers. Though there were surely some difficulties on the way, but teamwork solved everything. Our topic this time is Do Good House. It was fun to hear about the name because I did not know what type of building style it was. But we tried deeply to understand, interview, report, make the model, and finally got the idea the specialty of it. It is pretty hard to build the real model by oueselves. |

I have met this very unique person who is a retired math teacher, lives in Jinshan, and has this exclusive idea. Steven Ho, the designer of Do Good House, and won the first Green Cnstruction Competition. Ho sometimes goes rubbish picking at the beach and reuses some materials. The spirits of protecting the nature is something we should really learn. Thanks to our Teacher Lin, Ying-Pin, Lin, Hsiu-Nuan, and Claire for a lot of help and assistance, and the teamwork from this family. I certainly learnt something we may not find from textbooks. |

Joining Cyberfair helps to me meet the math teacher, Steven Ho, who used to teach in Taipei and builds the extraordinary Do Good House with great passion for the nature at the seaside of Jinshan. Ho’s concept for architecture is even greater than those experienced architects. It is not a guest house or restaurant, it is not even open business to others. I have learnt more and deeper for environmental protection, also how to stick with the idea doing the right thing. Thanks to Teacher Lin, Ying-Pin, Lin, Hsiu-Nuan, Claire, and all my teammates. I have found this Green Angel, Teacher Ho, through this project. He is not an architect or a designer, just simply a math teacher. He collects some reusable objects from the beach with the passion to the nature and make them different new items. He applys quadratic function to build Do Good House and won the Green Construction first prize. This reminds me being thankful with heart for everything around us may bring out something great. Thanks every person who helps us along the way and complete this one and the only project. |

School Cyberfair is a very special project. It does not like the previous competitions I have joined. It is not just about “compete”, but to upgrade our learning. I have learnt more information and knowledge about computers like photo compression, film editing, and different formats. Those are something you may not acquire from junior high school. We also learnt the importance of teamwork, brainstorm, and group discussion. I am glad to have my fellow teamates to help each other along the way and finish this project together, and also big big thanks to my teachers for instructing us all the time. |

I have known that there are lots of people who fight for our world everyday through this project, and Teacher Ho is one of them. We were very excited to visit Do Good House and interview the designer, Steven Ho. We finally realised that there are all kinds of intelligence to build one. It is also a Green Construction which adjusts indoor temperature itself. Teacher Ho told and taught us many secrets of Do Good House which cannot be found online such as the reason why he wanted to buildit here and who can you find for help in Jinshan District. We did learn a lot more about it. |
